Honestly I just look at the sigil or think about it, and I'm connected. Whether I'm taking energy out or putting it in is just like the flip of a switch based on current desire. Though I'm trying to focus more on building more energy so I can contribute some at the moment. It seems to work pretty fluidly for me though. So kudos, job well done, and very nicely executed. Disconnecting isn't quite as abrupt either, and the connection isn't quite as overpowering, but its still strong. So I'd say it serves the purpose well, now its just a matter of filling it up in case of emergencies.
