What is worse is its getting worse. I have a skin allergy to silver and since other things have gone very strange here lately... I was hoping somebody knew something to fix this. It used to be where it would take hours of contact before my skin would freak out to silver but now it takes only a few minutes. Grrrr. :-( This needs to be fixed. Eep. Help. :-( This Pic was taken after only a mere five minutes of skin exposure. It was starting to burn like hell. Attachments:

What exactly gave you the reaction? A silver spoon? Necklace?

What exactly gave you the reaction? A silver spoon? Necklace? It was a silver spoon that I was given as a gift by the richer side of my family. I had it put away for the longest time and I was curious if I was still allergic. >.<

Hmm.. Okay well, if you want a completely non-magical way of helping with your reaction then here: Doctors make certain moisturizers, antihistamines and hydrocortisone creams. You can prevent further allergic reactions by coating the side in contact with your skin with one of many products designed to create a clear shield. Another option is to use clear nail polish. Other less-expensive solutions include keeping your skin and the silver clean, and applying powder to the skin beneath the silver.
If you want a magical solution then try becoming more in tune with a wolf like nature. Also you can do what some people do to build immunity with snake venom, expose your skin to silver a little at a time to build up resistance. You could place the silver on your tongue for a few seconds and then immediately take it off.

"You could place the silver on your tongue for a few seconds and then immediately take it off." << At the risk of my tongue swelling up and not being able to talk.... I'll pass. >.< I just brought it up because I have been rather flustered over the strange oddities that have happened over the last couple weeks. :-(

I wish I could help more. It's alright. Zac has been a great help towards explaining things. :-)
