In the aspect of Dragons once being tangible creatures, it would net be because they were dangerous. Honestly we are to thin and stringy to be very appetizing, however we did pen up large animals that were nice and meaty for them. We3 killed them like we would ANY creature really, and that is as a trophy. fire breathing, flying, scaled reptile heads are quite the gift. Otherwise, it's just dragon slaying deities as them being real and not spiritual is incredibly unlikely.

I would like to state this and I know it for a fact...elemental dragons as you stated are not having a specific coloration and that is correct and yes they do exist but the title of "elemental dragon" is for the dragons that succeeded to manipulate the element that they possess with flying colors. In other words they gained knowledge about their specific element and their full potential. The environment that you spoke of "they don't live in a volcano if they are fire dragons"is actually a place to meditate and test their abilities of their respective elements. For example a fire dragon meditates in a volcanic are but lives nearby the coast or a water dragon is lurking underwater but lives in a forest cave.As for the dragons that wield multiple elements are very rare and almost extinct, such rare findings are being taken in the army and in a high rank as well or being taken to supreme tutors.-xerath-
