I wasn't quite sure where to put this topic but I wanted to discuss one of the few things I still do practice and that would be astral projection. Some people might call it Out Of Body Experiences or even Remote Viewing. The line is so thinly drawn that its hard to tell.
There are many ways to accomplish this but the method I use involves a very strong control over sleep cycles and sleep paralysis. Do forgive me ahead of time, i'm no good at writing guides.
The way I go about it is to make sure I am drowsy but not that tired. Then after laying in bed for a while try to focus on relaxing every part of yourself.
I generally start by focusing on relaxing my feet and then work my way up to my head. You might experience a feeling of extreme heaviness in your body and if this happens try not to fight it.
Then once you are very relaxed try to focus on something calm but not near your body. The point is to distract your mind from the phases of sleep. This is very important as the stages of sleep paralysis can be very frightening to somebody who has never experienced it before. It's basically where your body is sleeping and occurs every single night.
Once you are sure that your body is completely asleep and if you haven't lost consciousness yet, you will be able to tell as all of your senses will be gone.
Then try to focus on something in your room. Try not to force it or you risk waking yourself up but instead let it happen. You want it to happen.
If done correctly, you will see yourself on the bed sleeping and will be free to roam around as you please. It may take quite a few tries to pull this off because most people are not conditioned to be conscious during sleep.
^^^ This is best done when you have the proceeding day off work. You might feel much more tired than usual when you wake.
