You said something about shamans hunting for fragments. Could u explain more on how they find the fragments/shards? I'm not really sure I am qualified to speak on what shamans do and don't do, but the knowledge I do have comes from someone who studied with a Mayan Shaman named Martin Prechtel. www.floweringmountain.com/martin/In a magic novel I read recently there was law of magic stated: The Principle of Contagion - Once together, always together. While the novel is just a story that law is a force that many magic users depend on. The Shaman that gathers a fragment to bring back to the rest is a good example of that, or finding that piece would be quite difficult indeed. So they follow that connection to where ever the small piece is, usually walled up inside of said person due to some trauma of some kind. from what I know, they don't travel directly into said person's inner space, but rather travel to the underworld where everyone's inner spaces are connected. This is a dangerous place, because everyone's fears and hates live there too. I dont know how they transport or reattach a fragment, but generally fragments will act sort of like a magnet when placed where they belong and will heal on their own.

He has another book that I read a bit ago called Secrets of The Talking Jaguar. Great read, talks about his journey into learning to become a shaman, about how it came about, who he learned under etc.
