Death And RebirthWhile a Christian Druid may believe that the soul is only born once on Earth, most Druids adopt the belief of their ancient forebears that the soul undergoes a process of successive reincarnations – either always in human form, or in a variety of forms that might include trees and even rocks as well as animals. Many Druids share the view reported by Philostratus Of Tyana in the second century that the Celts believed that to be born in this world, we have to die in the Otherworld, and conversely, that when we die here, we are born into the Otherworld. For this reason, Druid funerals try to focus on the idea that the soul is experiencing a time of birth, even though we are experiencing that as their death to us. Attachments:

Well trees are much more alive then most people think. They can communicate with the Earth and other trees from many different parts of the world. And forests usually act as one like a community. It's weird but yeah, You can ask Zac what he knows about trees because he has a connection to them haha. And as for rocks, well I don't know about ordinary rocks, but precious gems and metals can have their own energy and personality. That's why they can help you magically cause they're alive. But if you ask me it's much more fun to be a wolf and hunt things than be a tree of knowledge

Exactly. The only downside is humans kill other animals without any remorse or regret. It's all to easy to consider something evil or dangerous as a justification for killing it. The morality of it doesn't seem to hold much binding against that. This is why wolves are so scarce in most places. I can't blame them for avoiding humans.

I don't think it's wrong to kill other animals if you have too. Most farmers kill off coyotes and wolves and honesty, why don't they make more secure pens for their livestock? And hunting animals for fun or sport is sickening. Unless there is an over population like with some types of deer. But still... Sick.

I have always followed the rule of thumb that if I am not killing for food or to avoid being killed then there is no justification in hurting them. Thankfully I have not yet run into a situation by which I had to defend myself against an animal. Every animal that I have met has been pretty contained. I can understand the exception of population control for deer though. At least for the purpose of food.
